10/1/1978, MMO's inauguration meeting was held in Osaka City Central Public Hall. Mainly Members of the Matsushita Electric mandolin clubs and Anima mandolin club and Osaka Electro-Communication University guitar mandolin club and Shoin Higashi high school mandolin club were gathered in the inauguration meeting.
Not limited to the specific alma mater and companies in the current , members are participating. And We was able to challenge even in advanced musical performance. Which operates in all without relying on the leaders. In a cozy atmosphere , young and old is playing happily the mandolin music love to target the regular concert. It has been with the practice field the Nishikujo Welfare Hall in Nishikujo of Osaka .
"Mozart"?It is the name of that composer Mozart. in 1978,Members gathered for mandolin orchestra organization mainly by Mr. Hashimoto, and the discussion which decides the name of the orchestra was performed. Various opinions were given, but there were no decisive ones. In this case , Nishida 's founder director has issued the opinion that "Mozart" . And it eventually was decided on it .
Then,Why is [mozaːru]? Mr. Nishida was a base player of a symphony orchestra until it was invited to a mandolin orchestra from Mr. Hashimoto. And he loves Mozart , he is also in the world of mandolin was believed that this thought. But though we were the orchestra who doesn't play Mozart's work mainly, we thought there was a possibility that everyone misunderstands under the name as "Mozart mandolin orchestra". So "the Mozart" was made "[mozaːru]" of French reading(It is a Japanese accent).
Members had attended the meeting did not even stick to the "Mozart " . And it is that for some reason members felt a pleasant sound from the word "[mozaːru]". Of course there was no dissent .
